Description

An original unboxed copy of Big Hits on the UK Decca label from 1969. Matrix 4W/4W. Stampers 1-CB/1-CU. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold with inner photo pages attached. Also included is a blue and white Decca sleeve from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In great shape and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks either side, and a couple of superficial trails - nothing heavy or likely to cause issues. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is very minor and infrequent. All we could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. Even 'Tears' & 'Lady Jane' [the acoustic tracks] play nice and clean. A great little player.
Cover (Ex) In super condition and has clearly been looked after. Lovely shiny front with just a bit of creasing around the opening area. The image on the front is very nice and clear without fading. The rear is marginally better with just a couple of tiny creases. The interior looks very smart and the photo pages do not appear to have been heavily thumbed - just expect a couple of small creases. Edge wear is very light for this title and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat.
Inner (Ex-) No splits. Lightest ageing.
