Description

An original 1968 Mono press by Decca in the UK - not there is NO Decca deep groove. Matrix 4A/2A. Lovely heavy-set vinyl and some proper sixties mono audio in great condition. Early copies in a gatefold cover with photo pages attached in the interior. There's also the original Decca inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few very slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome . A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quite and the audio comes across with great clarity. By and large a very nice clean player. Often played to death it is nice to hear this hits LP in very fine well preserved condition. SATISFACTION plays well and has usually been butchered! Not here - very nice with no noticeable issue really. The acoustic tracks are playing very well indeed - much better than what the typical copy serves up. Even the Lady Jane is mostly free of background - which is unusual. Just a couple of minor ticks later. The only tracks with a touch of light background was in ROOSTER. Nothing problematic at all. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) Very well preserved cover and looking better than MOST examples..Truly a superb presentation - lovely firm and flat...examples rarely look/feel like this. The outer surfaces are really clean and looking very tidy. Photo pages are intact in the interior and have not been heavily thumbed. Take a look at the inside of the spines - MOST copies do not look like that - period. Superb. Minimal edge wear in places - very tidy. Slight ageing on spine, but text fully legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Very very fine!
Inners (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits! Bag present.
