Description

An original 1968 pressing of Big Hits on the UK Decca label. Matrix 1/3. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Stereo Gatefold cover including photo pages [attached]. 
Vinyl (Vg/Vg+) In very nice condition despite having seen a moderate level use. Under close inspection there are a number of light marks - nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with very good clarity. Interference is mostly light and infrequent. All we detected was a touch of static in a few places [e.g. Lady Jane / 'As Tears Go By' is a bit crackly]. But all in all a splendid rendition of the Mono 1st press.
Cover (Ex-) In great condition and has been well cared for. A lovely shiny front and back exhibiting nothing more than a couple of creases. The interior is in great condition too - with some handling wear in places. All photo pages are intact with a little bit of wear in places -nothing serious. Edge wear is light and the spine is mostly intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and remains a very impressive specimen.
