Description

An original 1968 pressing of Big Hits on the UK Decca label. Matrix 3W/4W. Stampers 1-UK/1-LH. Please note the tape number, above the catalogue number, still remains upside down and places this LP fair and squarely into 1968. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Stereo Gatefold cover including photo pages [attached]. Also included is the original stereo blue and white Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In very nice condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a number of light marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with very good clarity. Interference is light and infrequent. All we detected was a touch of light static in a couple of places. The only deviation is 'Lady Jane' where a mark causes a few crackles in the track. Nothing invasive, but it is audible.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and has been well cared for. A lovely shiny front and back exhibiting nothing more than a couple of creases. The interior is in great condition too - just some light handling wear in places. The photos are not heavily thumbed or falling out - all pages are intact. Edge wear is light and the  spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and remains a very impressive specimen.
Inner (Vg) A bit aged and a few creases. No major issues though.
