Description
Original 1965 U.S. first pressing of The Rolling Stones’ December’s Children (And Everybody’s) on London Records (PS 451).
This is one of those Stones albums that quietly becomes a favorite once you spend time with it. Sitting right in the middle of the band’s explosive mid-‘60s run, it blends gritty R&B, early Jagger/Richards songwriting, and the unmistakable swagger that made the Stones legends. Featuring classics like Get Off Of My Cloud, As Tears Go By, I’m Free, and Blue Turns To Grey, it’s an essential piece of the British Invasion.
Collectors will appreciate the details that identify this as an authentic first-run U.S. pressing: Bell Sound mastering, Columbia Terre Haute (T1) pressing, deep blue unboxed London labels, original ZAL 7031 / ZAL 7032 matrices, the original “Electronically Reprocessed For Stereo” jacket, and the original London company inner sleeve. These are exactly the manufacturing characteristics seasoned Stones collectors look for when separating true 1965 originals from later pressings.
See pics. This isn’t a perfect copy—it’s a real 1965 first pressing that’s been cared for over the decades. The Near Mint vinyl is exceptionally clean, while the original VG jacket shows honest age without taking away from its vintage appeal. An increasingly tough combination to find on an authentic Bell Sound / Terre Haute first pressing.
