Description

Exile On Main St. is the tenth studio album by the British rock legends. It was released on their Rolling Stones Records label in May 1972. It has long been recognized as a pivotal rock album which many critics view as possibly their best and as one of the greatest albums of all-time. The Lp was a huge commercial success topping the charts in six countries. The album exhibited a wide range of influences in blues, rock and roll, swing, country and gospel. It included the single “Happy” with Keith Richards lead vocals and the world-wide hit “Tumbling Dice”. Rolling stone Mafazine has it ranked currently at #7 on its 500 Greatest Albums all-Time list.
