The Rolling Stones - Flowers

RARE 1st press vinyl - LK-I 4888 DECCA - Red label

Condition: Vinyl in general good condition, plays well, with sign of imperfections, surface noises and crackles. Inner white plain sleeve in great condition. Outer cover intact with vibrant colours. Only a little mark on the front bottom right corner, and a stain on the back top right corner.

Label: Decca, LK-I 4888

Format: Vinyl, 12", MONO

Collectors Notes: 1st Italy pressing with red labels and silver printing. Flowers mono was issued on the 15th of July 1967 in very small limited numbers by Decca, but not actually sold in the UK until the mid 70's when the boxed stereo version was pressed. Because of the extremely small limited amount of Flowers MONO albums manufactured by Decca, it is reported by serious stones collectors that today this mono album is one of the rarest Decca Stones albums to find in any condition.

Side A: quite a few superficial scratches, 2 of them are more visible but they don't seems to be deep. They both run across the grooves, one on the first two tracks and a half, and the other one from over the last 3 tracks. No jumping, but occasional pops. O

n the song "Ruby Tuesday" the vinyl jump once at the start of the refrain.

Side B: again some superficial scratches, plus 3 that are more visible. These are short and look like a small "hair". Again the record don't jump, but there are few pops and crackles.
