Description

An original 1st press from Autumn 1970 on the UK Decca label. Matrix 1W/1W. Heavy set vinyl - not the later flimsy stuff. The record comes housed in a fully laminated, purple bordered, original cover printed by the Upton printing. Original  blue and white Decca inner sleeve. 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) As you can see from the pics this copy has only seen very light use and is shiny like new. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks on either side, but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity and minimal interference. All we could detect was a touch of light static at the intro to each side - and very little else at all. Even 'Love In Vain' plays clean - which is often a difficult ask. The actual audio quality is top notch and manages to resolve every last nuance of the performance.
Cover (Ex) The cover has clearly been looked after carefully down the years. The front is nice and shiny with very little creasing at all and the rear has escaped the usual ageing. There are a few light indentations on the rear, but nothing remotely unsightly. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover has maintained excellent rigidity and is a very fine example.
Inner (Ex) No splits or ageing, just a couple of small tears around the centre hole [one which has been taped up].

Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
