The Rolling Stones Goat's Head Soup Vinyl LP COC59101 VG+ Cond 1973 First Press.
Gatefold cover.
Includes two LP-sized inserts.
Rarely, the promotional "Goat Head Soup" stickers by John Pasche can be found with the record, mainly attached to the top right sleeve (unfortunately not with this copy). Here is what Pasche, the cover art designer said in an interview: „At a very late stage they decided to use some new photos of the band for the cover and the soup images were used as a folded poster with the album and also for stickers promoting the album’s release.“ These exact stickers alone pop up from time to time without the record and also have been found on the second matrix variation. These facts, their rarity and their "promotional character" would lead to the conclusion that they have not been an integral part of the first album release. Maybe the company handed them out to some stores who either gave them away as a gift or put them on the sleeves.

Vinyl Condition is VG+ has a few small light surface marks when held in a strong light, but none that affect playback at all. Plays through nicely a really clean copy
Sleeve Condition is VG+ has a small mark on the front cover near the spine as seen in photos, also a little spinewear and a few small crease marks but overall in a very good condition
Plain white inner sleeve
Both inserts included and both in a very good condition with no rips or tears
