Description

A 1st pressing of 'It's Only Rock 'N Roll' on Rolling Stone Records. Matrix A2/B2. Etching 'Rolling Stone Records'. Please note the track 'Luxury' is timed at 5.02 on the label - this is incorrect and only the very earliest pressings exhibit this error. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original 'Shorewood Packaging' cover. Also included is the original thick-card inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely superb shape and a very straightforward Ex+ which has clearly seen only the lightest use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. The audio quality is superb and being so close to the original master is definitely helping here. Interference is almost non-existent. All we detected was a couple of crackles at the end of the outro to 'Its only rock n roll.' , but very little else at all. A stunning rendition....
Cover (Ex+) In pristine condition and doesn't look far off 'new'. It lies perfectly flat without any creasing or tears. The spine is 100% intact and edge wear is non-existent. Overall the cover retains all of its original rigidity. Difficult to imagine finding a better example.
Inner (Ex+) Perfect condition. No splits or markings.
