You're looking at an original UK copy of Let It Bleed by the Stones, complete with the original inner sleeve, poster, and sticker.

The cover is front laminated, with a pinched spine, and a small cut-out hole on the back to check the inner-sleeve colour. The original inner-sleeve is custom for this record, and has the track listing and credits on one side. The original poster sticker is firmly fixed to the front and hasn't been tampered with. The poster is included and is folded the exact same way it was when new. The labels are the blue "boxed" Decca labels. It is as complete a copy of this record as you can find, but there are so many pressing variants of this album from 1969-1971 that it is difficult to say with certainty which year it dates to. The cover, with cut-out hole, inner sleeve and poster are all consistent with a first press, but the record label appears to be a later variant. I am sure it dates between '69-'71, though, so in my estimation this is an original.
The cover and record are both EX/EX. The cover is exceptionally clean and has no major creasing, rips, or seams splits. Any wear is minimal and inconspicuous. The laminate is tight on the front and this seems to have lifted it from the cover slightly just near the spine. The back has a very light crease in the top corner, around 1cm. The sticker is perfect and firmly in place. It is perhaps not as white as it originally was, but for a 50 year old record I suspect this is the case for most other copies. It is truly a stunning cover, and ideal to have on display. I wouldn't go so far as to say archive, but it does seem like a copy that has been carefully stored away most of it's life, and has no signs that it was ever passed around carelessly in any hazy 70s parties!
The record is glossy, with no obvious handling marks or big scratches. Under a bright light there are only those wispy hairlines and faint sleeve removal lines. It is exceptionally clean, and doesn't seem to have been handled much, certainly not by me. The labels are also clean and have no nasty spindle marks. In fact there is hardly a spindle mark at all. It really seems to have been well cared for.
The inner sleeve is EX - it is slightly grubby looking from time, but there are remarkably no seam splits. There are the beginnings of one, about half a cm long, right where the record touches the edge, but you'd do well to spot this. The only creasing is around the outline of where the record has sat, and nothing is folded over; it's all flat. Like the rest of the package it is well preserved
The poster is EX - it is still folded the same way as it was when new. It has a small tear as seen in photos, about 1.5cm near the "R" in Rolling. There is light creasing in places, as seen in the photo. There are no pin marks in the corner, and I can only guess the creasing has come from occasional handling; it certainly doesn't seem to have been hung anywhere. The poster is exceedingly rare, and this one, while not quite mint, as not been midhandled over the years and seems to, for the most part, have been kept safely in the sleeve.
The record has been played through all the way and sounds fantastic. There is light crackle in quieter passages but nothing overbearing. There are no skips, sticks, jumps; not on a copy this clean.
I have owned this copy for 15 years and have played it no more than five times in that whole time. It's always been one of the jewels in my collection, but recent times have forced me to downsize. It is a copy worthy of any collector or Stones fan.
