Description

Hello and welcome to one of my listings. Primarily I am a collector however from time to time I like to offer items from my collection.

Grading is based on the UK record collectors grading chart primarily, however I do make the effort to ensure that the grading and its words match the items actual condition, although as is always the case; buyers should take time to look at the photos carefully to gage an accurate idea of the items condition.

Visual grading is based on inspection under both normal and extreme bright light, as you will see from my feedback I do normally get this right! If for any reason you are not happy however I do offer a 100% money back promise providing of course the item is returned in the condition it was sent in. Thanks for looking.

Lovely first issue in mono of the Rolling Stones first self title album.

Matrix endings of 1A & 3A, with a front laminated Macneill press flipback sleeve.

Sleeve strictly graded as VERY GOOD PLUS, a few light wrinkles to the laminate however a FAR better than average example of this notoriously fragile sleeve.

Disc is graded EXCELLENT MINUS, a nice clean example with great audio, a couple of bag removal trace lines visible under bright light along with one or two hairlines. Great full audio which appears not have been played much - just a few light spindle trails to both sides.

Postage costs: I only offer recorded/ signed for deliveries for within the UK only.

NO overseas sale unless you are part of the ebay Global shipping initiative.

UK RECORD GRADING SYSTEM

Mint  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent  The record shows very minor signs of having been played, but there is virtually no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have very minor wear and/or creasing. Very Good  The record has obviously received some play, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite the odd surface mark here and there. Minor wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any problems and still well above acceptable condition. Good  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some slight distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from some folding, scuffing of edges, discolouration, staining etc Fair  The record is still  playable but has not been cared for properly and displays far more notable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents may have more notable staining or defacing. Poor  The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad  The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
