The offensive text was removed permanently from later editiobbb
This fine UK 1st pressing of their second album dates from initial January 1965 release on the deep-grooved Decca label (LK.4661). The 'KT' purchase tax code is present on the label and in both run-outs.
Matrices: XARL-6619-1A & XARL-6620-2A
Stamper codes: 1/HG & 1/UU
Housed in a front laminated, bi-flipback mono cover printed by 'James Upton Ltd.', which contains the text:
'If you don’t have the bread, see that blind man knock him on the head, steel his wallet and low and behold you have loot, if you put in the boot, good another one sold.'
Condition:
Sleeve (EX++) Other than some minor laminate lifting near the spine the sleeve is still in lovely condition. The back cover has amazingly retained much of its original bright white luster. No seam-splits etc. Corners are crisp and the spine text is clearly legible.
Record (EX+) The record has a deep, rich, shiny, mirror-like sheen. Beautifully preserved. If you were to tilt the vinyl at an angle against a strong light source, some wispy hairline marks, faint blemishes, and line marks become faintly visible. These marks are otherwise more difficult to discern under normal room light. The labels do show a few light spindle trails, otherwise perfect.
Inner (VG+): Some storage creasing but no seam-splits etc.
