Description
On offer is my second copy of this iconic album. This is the 1970 Mono repress with the boxed, red/silver Decca label. My original copy from 1965 has been played once too often and I will not offer any of my albums for sale unless they are of at least EX quality. Having researched the different versions of this album I have come across several examples where the boxed Decca was declared as being an original version from 1965. My understanding is that the boxed Decca only appeared from 1970 onwards. The back sleeve includes reference to the printing company and includes the blind man text labels have MONO on both sides and Suzie-Q on both side two of the label and the back of the outer sleeve. It is also unique in that the matrix 2A is on side one and 1A is on side two (please see photos).
Having play graded the album I can confirm there are no pops, clicks or scratches and minimal surface noise throughout. On this basis I am classifying the vinyl as at least EX. The labels are totally unmarked and there is minimal spindle wear.

The outer sleeve is in superb condition with no marks or creases and the spine is fully legible. I have replaced the original inner sleeve with a modern, protective one to look after the vinyl. If you are looking for a well preserved early copy of this album then you will find this one has been well preserved during its fifty five years of ownership.
