Description

An original Boxed copy of OOOHs on the UK Decca label from Summer-1970. Matrix 1K/1K. Stampers 1-CI/1-BC. A nice early boxed copy from the 1st mothers shortly after the switch to the boxed design. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Robert Stace cover. Also included is blue and white Decca inner sleeve date coded to summer 1970. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has clearly only seen the very lightest use. Under close inspection we could barely make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A faultless rendition delivering great resolution and clarity all the way through. Even in those tricky paired down tracks - no background at all. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All we could make out were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. FINAL UPGRADE..no sweat!
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Wow, if only all sixties covers looked this sweet! Lovely shiny front which is borderline immaculate barring two tiny creases. The rear is stunning because it literally is totally free from any ageing at all. Possibly one or two microscopic marks, but you'd struggle even equalling this standard. Edge wear is super-light and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact - a beaut! Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies nice and flat. What a specimen!
Inner (Vg+) No splits or markings. A bit of light fade.
