Original Canadian Issue, in Gatefold 'Hologram' Lenticular Sleeve with original inner.  Dark Blue London Labels.

Sleeve - VG The sleeve looks and feels great.  The front looks absolutely excellent!  Unfortunately, the top back of the gatefold is split slightly, with some chaffing along the edge.  It still feels sturdy, but could do with a skilful fix.  I have kept the record inside the gatefold in a plastic sleeve instead of in the actual sleeve, so stop the issue getting worse.  Otherwise, there's some light edgewear and cornerwear and corners have smoothed out a bit.  The inside looks excellent, with no ringwear.  There is slight ringwear and some marks on the rear, but they are hard to distinquish.  If it wasn't for the seam issue - I would grade this VG+.  It still looks fantastic.  Inner - slightly discolored and creased, but not split!
 
Vinyl - VG The record looks pretty clean, no signs of really heavy play.  There is however some scuffing, hairlines under strong light and a few sounding scratches.  The first is at the end of side 1, affected the opening songs reprise, which causes a moderate click for about just over a minute.  It's not too annoying.  The second sounds during the opening "ambient" bit of 2000 Light Years.  Neither is critical or causes any serious problems.  Apart from this and some light noise throughout, and few light clicks and pops, but the record is a still a great listen - with good bottom end and dynamics.  A thrilling ride still(although that depends on your constitution for this record)!

Who Wants This?  If you don't want to get involved in paying through the roof for a British copy, the Canadians are a decent cheaper alternative to get a vintage copy, especially if you want something with the stunning original lenticular artwork and inner.  This one isn't perfect, but still a great listen and the sleeve looks great.  If you are after a mono, be careful and do your research, as quite a few pressings are simply folds of the stereo.
