Description

An original 1st press of SG on the Rolling Stone label. Matrix 3U/3U - You can go earlier but it's much harder to find. The 3's & 4's are the main stay of 1st press. The vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue uncensored cover. The story goes that when some of the celebrities, or their estates, got wind of this cover they demanded a redaction of some well known faces. The most notable probably being MM's estate - her image is clearly visible, here, but you won't see it on later copies. Also included is the original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. 
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. I can make out a couple of very light marks both sides - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A very detailed and raw rendition - precisely what you're looking for on this title. A very nice clean player throughout. Expect a few isolated crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. In other words - precious little. I picked out 3-4 clicks during 'Miss You'. Overall a sweet player!
Cover (Ex-) In very nice condition indeed and has been looked after. Front and rear are in excellent condition with only lightest handling signs. It is unusual to find that die-cut front looking this unworn. Edge wear is limited and the openings still sharp. The spine is very good with the typical level of slight wear [text still mostly legible though]. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A well preserved original copy.
Inner (Vg+) Nice front and back. A bottom edge split [couple of inches] has been taped up.
