ORIGINAL LP The Rolling Stones - Special Radio Station Advanced Promotional Record
ST-PRO 101
BLUE VINYL
This item is a very rare radio-only 12” vinyl EP pressing of Cops and Robbers, a promo piece from Rolling Stones Records and featuring, of course, Mick & the Boys. This record was released in 1973 to radio stations only, to play in anticipation of a BBC Documentary titled The Rolling Stones Story. It features four tracks, all early recordings by the band. In fact, two of the songs – Memphis and Roll Over Beethoven – were also recorded in the studio by The Beatles, and so with I Wanna Be Your Man, gives a nice set of songs for comparison.
