The Rolling Stones ”Sticky Fingers” 1971 12” Vinyl LP with Zipper, 59100 A pre-owned vintage 1971 ‘first pressing’ of The Rolling Stones, the iconic ’Sticky Fingers’ LP album, with the Andy Warhol conceived sleeve design featuring the ‘functioning’ jeans zipper that is embedded into the cover. Released in 1971, A Promotone N.V. Record, catalogue number COC 59100, 33RPM. This black vinyl record is housed in the original cardboard sleeve, and is in pretty good condition considering its vintage age. The section of the jeans buckle image near the top edge of the sleeve has been bent and creased over the years, so the 1980’s applied sellotape on the inside of the sleeve has ensured its intact survival. Again, considering it’s age - the vinyl is in good condition and plays well overall. There are a few age confirming ‘crackles’ here and there (which adds to the 1970’s feel IMO). And there is a visible surface mark on side 1, but when play tested - this mark did not effect the playing quality, being purely cosmetic (please see the photographs). This album also comes with the dual sided paper insert, which is in perfect condition. An original and authentic 1971 classic collectors album of the era, is a must-have for fans of The Rolling Stones ,available at the bargain price of £80.00
