The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers 1st UK Vinyl LP A4/B4 VG/EX No Promotone Zip.
Original UK 1st pressing of the iconic Rolling Stones LP in Andy Warhol designed “zipper” gimmick sleeve.
A4/B4 matrix endings with TML Rolling Stones Records on both sides.
No Promotone credit on labels.
Vinyl has light hairlines and a few light scratches. It is fully play tested and plays well with no major deterioration in sound although does have some light background crackle in some of the quieter sections. This isn’t too noticeable for the majority of the record, although the 1st third of “Sister Morphine” has a soft audible repetitive“click”. No other major issues and still a really decent listening copy. Grades VG
The sleeve is in VG+ to EX condition. The zip (small square style with 2 indents) is fully working and moves freely. Behind the zip is the Andy Warhol credit. A little light edge wear and a few creases near top of the opening for the jeans. No writing or major wear, no rips or tears.
The inner sleeve is EX too. Clean with no creases, rips or writing.
Overall a very enjoyable and playable 50 years old 1st pressing of this classic Rolling Stones LP.
