The Rolling Stones – Sticky Fingers (1977 Reissue, Rolling Stones Records COC 59100) – WORKING ZIPPER – VG Jacket / NM Vinyl
🎸 Classic Album, Iconic Artwork – Complete with Functional Zipper
This is a 1977 U.S. reissue of The Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers, originally released in 1971 and known for its instantly recognizable Andy Warhol-designed cover featuring a working metal zipper. This copy retains the full packaging concept — zipper intact and fully functional — with near mint vinyl and a VG jacket showing a notable flaw (see below).
Condition:
-
Vinyl: VG+. Play graded: Side one low level click noise that does not get in front of the songs. Side Two: Fewer clicks than side one but two loud pops on Sister Morphine.
-
Jacket: VG — solid overall, but with a tear along the glue flap on the upper right that exposes part of the inner jeans image beneath (see photo). Zipper is fully functional and the spine and back remain intact.
