Description

An original 1st press of STONE AGE on the UK Decca label from 1971. Matrix 1D/2D. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Robert Stace cover. Also included is the original blue and white Decca inner sleeve date coded to '1-71' - January 1971 two months before 1st release. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is minimal. We couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of spots [literally]. It really is a supremely well preserved specimen.
Cover (Ex+) In great shape and has clearly been carefully looked after down the years. Beautifully shiny front with barely a crease on it. All colours bold and vivid - no signs of ageing. The rear, usually the let down area, is in great condition and showing barely a hint of ageing. No creasing or surface wear. Edge wear is very light and the text on the spine is all still legible. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and it lies totally flat.
Inner (Ex) Barely a hint of ageing. No markings or splits.

Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
