Your chance to bid on a truly incredible Stones album!
This is the only true mono mix produced of this album, both the US and later 1K matrix British release are nothing but fold downs - this is how it should be heard!
This auction features the stunning original 3D cover, I have pictured it to show that there is a spine split and inside the gatefold a slight wrinkle or two but nothing really nasty and free from writing which is always a bonus. It also comes complete with the red smoked inner - not sure if this is the original one as it feels of a more modern material than the paper one but nonetheless it is in mint condition.
The vinyl of course is what matters here and it sounds stunning! Full mono sounds abound with slight background crackle - more noticeable during quieter passages - but I am sure that with a professional clean it would grade at excellent+.
Visually it looks pretty stunning for a record of this age with minimal sleeve scratches and a couple of scuffs on side 2 but nothing really audioable or feelable. The labels are in great condition and the vinyl has a lovely shiny appearance - just check the photos to confirm all the above facts.
I also show a photo of the vinyl playing on my Thorens using a tracking weight of 1 gram on a Shure VN35MR to hopefully assure you that not only has it been play tested but also that it has been well looked after during its life with me. Genuine reason for sale due to me constantly upgrading my collection.
Overall this is a great chance to grab a classic. It may have slight sleeve damage but if that really bothers you then bid for the stunning vinyl and source a mint sleeve at a later date.
As with all my vinyl it will be professional packaged out of its sleeve with stiffeners, in a plastic sleeve and sealed in a cardboard mailer.
