Classic Records 2 Disc Set 180 gram reissue of The Royal Ballet Gala Performances RCA Living Stereo Soria Series LDS6065. Royal Opera House Orchestra, Covent Garden conducted by Ernest Ansermet.

This recording is on Harry Pearson's Super Disc List, in the Special Merit category, and on Arthur Salvatore's Supreme Recordings list, in the "Divinity" (highest) category.
The covers and LPs are in virtually new condition (see photos), having been played only 2-3 times on a Well Tempered Classic with Ortofon Rondo Bronze, and on a VPI Aries/JMW 10 with a Grado Statement Master cartridge. Each disc was cleaned and vacuumed with a VPI HW-17 before each play.
These are 180 gram pressings, not the later 200 gram LPs that many audiophiles complain about.
