Description
Insanely rare Decca recording from England released on RCA Records. This is the mono version.
The lp with sides 1 and 4 plays well- good to very good overall. The lp with sides 2 and 3 does not
play well. It has many skips and much noise, however there are sections that play fine.
Play sides 2 and 3 at your own risk.
I must say even in this overall condition that it is a magical record and worth the $2000 that
an excellent copy will bring. This is a wonderful opportunity to sample LP nirvana- a great starter copy!
The spine/lp holder that slides into the outer jacket is in quite good condtion as you can see in the picture.
The outer jacket has some darkening and a tear in the top left corner, but presents itself intact. Take a look at the pictures.
Really a special album even in this condition. If you have the money for a better copy, I'd not hesitate to recommend it,
but if not and you would like a good taste of this incredible recording, this copy will do the trick.
I have the Classic Records reissue of this lp set. It does not compare- there is a much greater
presence of the event on these used records -even with the limitations I have described.
