For sale is The Runaway's first album, released in 1976 on Mercury Records. I bought this new and immediately put this album, like all my records, in a protective inner sleeve. This kept the original inner sleeve in a near mint condition! The cover has minor stress cracks and some color loss around the spine, ring wear as well as corner blunts. The vinyl is mint, though I graded it conservatively as Near Mint. In the run-out there's stamped "Masterdisk" followed by the the initials G.K in the dead wax. This shows that it was mastered by Gilbert Kong. It's been played on only Audiophile equipment over the years and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. Having lived in New York most of my life, my collection is very heavy on the Punk/New Wave scene in N.Y.C, and the U.K. Please take a look at my other listings in my Ebay store. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
