                                         The RUNAWAYS
This was the debut album from the legendary all-girl group from California.  The band featured some of the biggest female stars of the 70’s, 80’s, and into the 90’s.  While initially not a huge sensation in the US, they were one of the most popular bands everywhere else in the world.  This powerful debut featured their signature hit “Cherry Bomb”, as well as several other classics.  It’s astounding to recall that, with the exception of Lita Ford who was 17, each member of this amazing group was 16 years old at the time of this release.  The album lives on today as a rock ‘n roll and punk rock classic.  The album was released on Mercury in 1976, number SRM 1-1090.  This is the original release of the album.  The insert lyric sheet with band photo and tribute is included.  The vinyl is in GREAT condition with its bright original luster and just a couple of very light paper scuffs that barely impact play....  The vinyl grades VG++ / EXcellent .  The Gatefold album cover shows the slightest of light wear....  All seams are sharp, tight, and intact.   The original Mercury inner sleeve is included.  The cover grades VG++ / Excellent ....                             quick Next day MEDIA MAIL shipping ..
