Extremely rare and heavily sought-after ROCKY HORROR related vinyl LP. The Stripper was a stage musical produced in 1982 by the Sydney Theatre Company, adapted by Richard O'Brien from the 1961 book of the same name written by Carter Brown. It's a 1920s style musical about gangsters featuring Terence Donovan (father of JASON DONOVAN) as Lt. Al Wheeler. The production also starred several former Rocky Horror cast members including John Paramour, Bob Hornery and Robyn Moase as Deadpan Dolores. Much of the original Rocky Horror creative team were also involved in staging the show. In addition to Richard O'Brien composing lyrics, Richard Hartley wrote, arranged, and directed the music, while Brian Thomson designed and directed the show. The show opened on August 25, 1982 at Kinsela’s Theatre in King's Cross, Sydney.

Shortly after its release, the album was deleted and has since become one of the rarest and most highly coveted Rocky Horror-related vinyl releases of all time. This Copy is NEAR MINT and has NEVER been played. The cover and gatefold jacket are likewise Near MINT with just a slight vinyl ring on the back cover. This album rarely shows up for sale and never in such pristine condition.
