Description
The Saints - Eternally Yours LP (SHSP 4078) UK first pressing, mispressing.
The jacket is graded VG, as there is a sticker that was removed on the front cover that resulted in torn paper to the graphic; there is also heavy seam wear, but no splits, and a promo stamp on the rear. The original cardboard inner is in VG+ or better condition. The record is the mispressed copy. These are known to have a hang or skip on the last track on both sides. The vinyl has a couple hairlines on the A side that did not affect playback with any noise. There is one hairline on the last track A side (A6) "No Your Product", but it can not be felt and does not cause noise and does not appear to be the reason for the hang/skip which occurs around 1/4 through track A6 and the hairline appears to start later on the track. Under direct light with magnification I do not see any reason for the hang and it may not do this with a different needle or adjusted tracking force. My turntable did not result in any hang on B side. Since the vinyl visually grades as VG+ and plays without noise and the hang is the result of a documented mispressing I have kept the VG+ grade for the vinyl. If you have a concern with this documented issue, please do not purchase this record.
