Description

The Seeds' 2nd album ‘A Web of Sound’ Early True 1st Pressing in Mono released in 1966 on GNP Crescendo Records - Cat. # GNP2033 - VG+/VG+!


Vinyl is in Very Good Plus Condition (VG+) - The vinyl has a nice gloss overall but there are a couple light hairline scratches and paper scuffs on both sides and there is 1 deeper scratch on Side 1, however these markings do not affect the playability at all!

The record labels are in good condition but show some light scratches. Also along the bottom of each label it says. 'Gene Norman Presents, Hollywood, California, U.S. A.'  and I am not sure why but the letter looks to have either been poor stamped/tyoed and then re-stamped/type making it blurry, or the lettering has smeared and faded, I will make sure to photographs this section well so you can be your own judge. The spindle hole looks good with only a little bit of wear. 

Cover is in Very Good to Very Good Plus Condition (VG-VG+) - The cover is very sturdy but shows wear. There is general cover wear, signs of ring wear on the front and back, edge wear(but not seam splits) and the name 'Donnie F.' is written in pen along the top of the backside. (All flaws will be shown in the photographs.)

The original inner sleeve is missing but the vinyl is stored safely in an archival anti-static poly sleeve.)

All records that I sell are from my own personal collection and have been handled and stored properly since I have be the owner. When it comes to vinyl I am more of a collector than a seller, but I do sell some albums usually when I either feel it’s time to pass them along or if I'm in need of extra money to purchase a new album and/or audio equipment.

All of my vinyls have been both Visually and Play Tested. Visual testing is done under a 100W lamp and play testing is done using my Thorens TD-160 Super with a Black Widow Tonearm with an ADC VLM Cartridge. I have also cleaned each vinyl record using a VPI HW 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. My grading follows the ‘Goldmine Grading Standard’ but I have added the grade of Excellent (EX) between Near Mint (NM) and Very Good Plus (VG+).
