180 Gram -- The nicest thing you can do for your stylus and ears. The ultimate record – the way music was meant to be heard.

There have been so few vinyl LPs produced over the last 5 years that you should never pass up the opportunity to upgrade your collection. They're each very limited in their pressings and disappear with extraordinary quickness from the vinyl market. This causes prices to skyrocket because once they are gone, they are gone forever! Don't second-guess yourself with this chance to upgrade your collection because before you know it, the opportunity will have passed forever.

Every region used to have its own version of the Siegel-Schwall Band, a fun, up-tempo blues-based group that always delivered the good times at their regular gig at a popular night spot. Chicago being such a hotbed of the blues, we had quite a few. But the Siegel-Schwall Band ruled the roost for years from their weekly gig at the Quiet Knight (back then, all the North Side clubs had lame-sounding-in-retrospect names). This LP shows them in prime form live on their home court.

Timeless and still fresh sounding, Corky Siegel, Jim Schwall and band play their honest and original blues tunes with conviction and virtuosity. These guys were on top of their game and played like they were born to do it, which of course they were. Among their original tunes are covers of "Meet Me In The Bottom" (Howlin' Wolf), "Going To New York" (Jimmy Reed) and "Hoochie Koochie Man" (Muddy Waters -. That might be due to their having been taught to the boys by the original artists themselves, who would often sit in with Siegel-Schwall in the early days of their career.

Tracks include: Shake For Me - My Starter Won’t Start - Jim I Am - Louise, Louise Blues - Wouldn’t Quite You - You Can’t Run That Fast - Think - Rain Falling Down - Get Away Man - Yes I Love You
