Great example of this 60s classic with the very difficult to find lilac label first pressing
The disc is housed in the distinctive award-winning round 5-panel sleeve.
Album: Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake Label: Immediate ? Cat. Number: IMLP 012 Matrix: IMLP 012 1L IMLP 012 2L Released: 1968 Vinyl Visual: The record looks played a lot but there were no needle marks or scuffs that I could . feel to the touch. Vinyl Audio: I have played this album throughout & it plays quite well without jumping or sticking. Side 1: Crackle at start then background crackle throughout - a lot less noticeable during the louder bits and clearly noticeable during the silent bits and noticeable during the quieter bits and more so during the last track. Side 2: Crackle and pops at the start then background crackle (and the odd pop) throughout at varying levels of intensity clearly noticeable during the narrated bits . Overall I enjoyed the listening experience and at many moments I forgot all about any background surface noise. Not bad for a 1968 vinyl album. Labels: Very good - no writing or marks. There is some sign of spindle wear and some slight discolouration Sleeve: The 5 panel sleeve is in two parts and is in amazing condition for the age of the record. No writing or marks or tears. The only slight thing is some minor wear at the edges but this is only slight. In original round Polly liner.
