This very nice pressing from 1985 has the striking, and very collectable, bright yellow 'Viv Nicholson At The Pithead' artwork. The track was released as a 7" single only in Germany and Italy, with each having the artwork seen here. On the reverse of the sleeve there is the enigmatic inscription "All god's children Got Wings", with its unusual use of capitalisation and oblique reference to angels. The delicate outer sleeve has survived in superb condition in this case (see below), and there is no white catalogue sticker in the lower right corner of the sleeve, when viewed from the front, which is often present in examples of this pressing to spoil its appearance. This is a very nice collectable original pressing from 1985 which rarely appears on the market in the condition offered here.The vinyl and labels are in strong excellent condition, having only minor surface 'scuff' marks on the vinyl in a few places which become visible if held to the light. The thin paper outer sleeve is also in strong excellent condition, with no tears, seam-splits or significant creases anywhere; this is extremely rare. There is just one region on the reverse near the top edge where there are some faint marks due to handling at the sleeve mouth. This is a terrific example of this record which is highly-collectable and becoming very hard to find. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
