Description
The Smiths: Barbarism Begins at Home, German 12" single (RTD 021T).
B-side features Shakespeare's Sister, "plus extra track STRETCH OUT AND WAIT".
Excellent condition. I've described it as "NEW" as I have owned it from new and it is unplayed. It's been in a protective sleeve from the day I bought it. Unfortunately, there are a couple of things which prevent me from describing it as mint:
- the vinyl has two imperfections on the first track of the b-side, in the form of two lines (approx 6cm long). They are not scratches, but must have been part of the manufacturing process. They look like discolouration of the vinyl, but I'm no expert. They don't look as if they would affect I playing, but I can't confirm this as I've never played it. Apart from that it's practically perfect.
- the sleeve has one or two small, extremely minor creases, and a slight mark where the price sticker was removed. It's on the front, on the blue line under "H" of "Smiths" and is approx 10mm x 5mm. It doesn't show up on the photo.
Nevertheless, this is a lovely item.
As many of you will know by now, I'm gradually selling my entire Smiths/Morrissey collection to fund my own musical adventure, so keep an eye on my listings for plenty of rare items.
