The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging in a 'box' mailer with the record outside the sleeve to avoid seam-splitting. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

The Smiths - Complete Set of UK 7" Single Releases with Variations: 1983 - 1987

These will be pretty heavy to post, but the cost of UK postage will be limited to 5.00 and the remainder paid by myself. Recorded (tracked) delivery will carry an extra charge of just 0.70. Overseas postage is also subsidised (see postal service details above) and represents extremely good value compared to the extremely high price of buying them individually or in small groups and paying the postal prices separately each time.

The condition in detail is as follows:

'Hand In Glove (Manchester Address Sleeve)' (Cat: RT 131): The vinyl is in strong excellent condition with just very light surface marks on the surface of the glossy vinyl in a couple of places. The picture sleeve is also in strong excellent condition, with only the beginnings of mild creasing towards the mouth of the sleeve and very mild corner and edge wear in a few places. An extremely nice copy of this rare record, and the record is the correct pressing version for this sleeve; having 'ROUGH TRADE' in bold letters at the top of the label and the 'Glad Hips Music, 1983' label credit. The rear of the sleeve states "Sleeve by The Smiths".

'Hand In Glove (London Address Sleeve)' (Cat: RT 131): The vinyl is in strong excellent condition with barely any surface marks or signs of handling. The picture sleeve is in excellent condition, with just some very mild beginnings of creasing in a few places and some mild 'corner wear' here and there. The record is the correct pressing for this sleeve, having "THE SMITHS" printed in bold at the top of the label and the '1984' label credit. The rear of the sleeve states "Sleeve by MORRISSEY".

'Hand In Glove (Sandie Shaw Version)' (Cat: RT 130): The vinyl is in excellent condition with practically no surface marks on the glossy vinyl, but with some deep scuff marks on the centre of the label itself which do not affect the playing surface. The picture sleeve is in strong excellent condition, with barely any signs of wear and retaining its glossy 'sheen'.

'This Charming Man' (Cat: RT 136): The vinyl is in strong excellent condition, remaining glossy with next-to-no surface marks at all. The picture sleeve is also in strong excellent condition, with only the very lightest signs of handling. The label has an original circular "ROUGH TRADE" logo label stuck over the original label credits on each side by the record company, and it is relatively rare to find copies which were amended in this way for copyright reasons.

'What Difference Does It Make? (Terence Stamp Sleeve)' (Cat: RT 146): The vinyl is in strong excellent condition, having only the lightest signs of having been played and the faintest of 'hairline' surface marks in one or two places. The picture sleeve is in excellent condition with just some mild corner and edge wear in places, but remaining a very respectable copy with its original glossy finish.

'What Difference Does It Make? (Morrissey Sleeve)' (Cat: RT 146): The vinyl is in strong excellent condition, showing only the most minor signs of having been played. The picture sleeve is also in strong excellent condition, with just some extremely minor 'corner wear' in a few places but with sharp edges and its original glossy 'sheen'. The sleeve is the 'darker blue' tinted version which is seen occasionally in place of the lighter blue version.

'Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now' (Cat: RT 156): The vinyl is in strong excellent condition with barely any surface marks on the highly-glossy vinyl. The picture sleeve is also in strong excellent condition, with just some very mild creasing towards the mouth of the sleeve.

'William It Was Really Nothing' (Cat: RT 166): The vinyl is in strong excellent condition, having only very light signs of having been played and some light surface marks in one or two places. The picture sleeve is also in strong excellent condition, with sharp edges and only the lightest of 'corner wear'. There are just the beginnings of some very minor creasing in places, but no significant wear and the sleeve has its original glossy appearance.

'How Soon Is Now' (Cat: RT 176): The vinyl is in excellent condition, showing some signs of having been played but being well looked-after. The picture sleeve is in strong excellent condition, with no significant creasing or signs of wear other than some very mild 'corner wear' and minor signs of handling.

'Shakespeare's Sister' (Cat: RT 181): The vinyl is in strong excellent condition, being very glossy and having only the lightest signs of having being played. The outer sleeve is also in strong excellent condition, remaining glossy in appearance with sharp edges and corners and having only mild signs of wear in places.

'That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore' (Cat: RT 186): The vinyl is in near mint condition, with no visible surface marks on the glossy vinyl; the record appears to be unplayed. The picture sleeve is in strong excellent condition, with no appreciable signs of wear and just some very minor 'corner wear' in a few places.

'The Boy With The Thorn In His Side' (Cat: RT 191): The vinyl is in near mint condition, with just the lightest of surface marks in a couple of places and no signs of having been played. The picture sleeve is in strong excellent condition, with sharp edges and corners and only the mild beginnings of creases in a few places.

'Bigmouth Strikes Again' (Cat: RT 192): The vinyl is in near mint condition, with no marks on the glossy vinyl or any signs of having been played. The picture sleeve is in strong excellent condition, with its original glossy appearance and all edges and corners are sharp; there is just the mildest beginning of a faint crease in one place.

'Panic' (Cat: RT 193): The vinyl is in near mint condition, with no discernable marks on the glossy vinyl and appearing unplayed. The picture sleeve is also in near mint condition, and appears pretty much in 'new' condition.

'Ask' (Cat: RT 194): The vinyl is in near mint condition, appearing never to have been played and with no marks on the glossy vinyl. The picture sleeve is also in near mint condition, with sharp edges and corners and no signs of wear; the record and sleeve are 'as new'.

'Shoplifters Of The World Unite' (Cat: RT 195): Again, the vinyl is in near mint condition, having never been played with no marks on the glossy vinyl. The picture sleeve is also in near mint condition, having sharp edges and corners and no signs of wear; the record and sleeve are 'as new'.

'Sheila Take A Bow' (Cat: RT 196): The vinyl is in near mint condition, being highly glossy with no signs of play or detectable surface marks. The picture sleeve is also 'as new', being near mint with no marks or creases and all corners and edges sharp.

'Girlfriend In A Coma' (Cat: RT 197): The vinyl is in near mint condition, being glossy with no marks or signs of play. The picture sleeve is in strong excellent condition, with just the mildest beginnings of creasing in a few places. The sleeve is the 'light green' tinted version rather than the more common 'grey' 7" sleeve.

'I Started Something I Couldn't Finish' (Cat: RT 198): The vinyl is in near mint condition with no marks or signs of play. The picture sleeve is in strong excellent condition with sharp corners and edges and very few signs of handling; there is just the mildest beginning of a small crease towards the lower right corner.

'Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me' (Cat: RT 200): The vinyl is again in near mint condition with no marks or any signs of play. The picture sleeve is also near mint with sharp corners and edges and no signs of wear; the record and sleeve are pretty much 'as new'.
