The Smiths - 'This Charming Man' US Re-Issue 12" - 1992

This is not the original 1983 release, but a 'remixes' 1992 re-issue on the US Sire record label which is, in fact, far rarer than the original release due to the very limited numbers pressed on vinyl compared to the CD format. It carries no less than seven versions of 'This Charming Man' (although the 'Original Single Version' is seemingly the same as the 'Manchester' version) as well as 'Wonderful Woman'. Such is the rarity of this vinyl pressing that it was featured in Record Collector's Top 100 Smiths Rarities list at a very respectable Number 41. This one is in superb condition and even has the original (opened) shrink wrap still on the outer sleeve (see below).

The record appears to be unplayed, and there are no visible surface marks on the vinyl or labels which are in mint condition. The record is pristine and the vinyl retains its original glossy sheen. The outer sleeve has one small 'cutout' towards the bottom left corner when viewed from the front, but is otherwise in near mint condition being protected from any wear by the presence of the original shrink-wrap which has been neatly cut at the mouth of the sleeve to allow access to the record. There are no creases and there are no signs of 'ringwear'. The original black circular sticker is also still present on the outer shrink-wrap.
