The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

The Smiths and Sandie Shaw 'Hand In Glove' German 'Marbled Vinyl' 12'' - 1984

This original 1980s German-released 12" has similarities in appearance to the 'William It Was Really Nothing' release of around the same time, which was also on the 'Intercord' label. This record has a mixture of blue, red and white colours in the vinyl and is actually, in my opinion, more beautiful and difficult to obtain than the aforementioned record; despite its slightly lower appearance in the Smiths Top 100 rarities list. This is a truly stunning record to own, and is an original official Smiths issue rather than a 'bootleg' item. Furthermore, this particular copy has survived in terrific condition (see below).The vinyl and labels are in near mint condition, being quite possibly unplayed, with no visible surface marks on the striking multicoloured vinyl even when held to the light. The sleeve is almost as impressive, in strong excellent condition with no marks, writing or damage anywhere. The edges and corners are sharp with barely any signs of wear. There are just a few very mild beginnings of creases towards the bottom right when viewed from the front. The sleeve retains its glossy appearance and there are no sticker marks and no 'cutout' which can often be found in examples of this release. The only imperfection is the beginning of a seam split in the middle of the top edge where the surface has just been broken. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.

Shipping costs are greater for overseas buyers, but still subsidised and very good value; please check prices by using the options above or feel free to ask.
