Description

The smiths ultra rare uk 1st press

"Stranheways, Here we come "

Cat number rough 106

Rough trade

Year 1987

Celebrating nr 30 years old ive decided to let this ultra rare item go and hope it goes to a smiths collector who will look after it , it belonged to my brother who bought it from the day it hit the shops and asked me to put it up for auction and believe it or not it was a very lucky find he's ever found and from that day he never ever played it due to the rarity on the item.

Cover nr ex+ condition slight corners nips and bottom of sleeve small peel but not ripped see photo.

Inner sleeve. Bottom slight slit but all in tac

Spine ex+

Vinyl nr mint. Best copy ive seen ever.

Matrix A2-u. // B-2-u

On the run out groove guy fawkes was a genius on side 1.

Mispressed sleeve slight front but lots more on the back of the cover.

Embossed sleeve with green mixed into the cover on the letters which was grey.

The back cover shows the full green mixed with the grey full on, on the back of the cover.

I have checked and none of the back cover on this smiths album which not many have this effect this is a ultra rare item for any smiths fans.

Normally the ocean colour on the front words on the front cover this was only found but never on the back cover.

The back cover was grey not the cover you see.
On this one with the green effect.

This back cover has the green running from the barcode into the cover which mixed into the grey showing some shades of grey this must be the only back cover which has ever come on to e bay ever before this is first time ever to been seen.

On this back cover has full green effect and something like this will never come up again in this day of age i have only seen 1 like this and that was a mispress sgt peppers cover in which i found in a car boot sale years ago.

This is a once in a life time find due to the error when it was going through printing through the record plant.

There's only maybe just a few in existence or maybe just this one due to this ultra rare cover.

For any smiths fan this is an holy grail item

A once in a lifetime chance u might not see again

Good luck

And happy bidding
