Description

The Smiths The Queen Is Dead 1986 Vinyl LP Sire 9 25426-1 SRC First Pressing

This is a first US pressing of The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead on Sire Records from 1986. Vinyl itself is in great condition. Only a couple hairline scratches as highlighted in my photos. Plays great. No skips, hangs, warps, or repeats.

Record comes in original gatefold jacket with printed lyrics, and double sided paper sleeve. All 3 sides of paper sleeve insert has no splits, and is fully entact. Outer jacket has some corner bump wear as shown in photos, but overall in great condition. This record has been stored in a record crate since the late 1980’s.

I use a ring light to highlight any noticeable scuffs or scratches in my vinyl auctions. Also helps to better highlight the runout etchings, which will indicate the exact version of the release.

I listen to all the albums prior to auction and will reference any jumps, skips, warps, repeats, etc. Or anything that will effect play in my listing. Will also always indicate any scratches that are deep enough to cause a noticeable click or pop sound.

I also don’t use any disc cleaning or disc washing system. So any residual dust or smudges have not been removed.

With that being said, I want to be as clear and honest to the exact condition of each listing, and depict any imperfections as well as I can with the ring light.

Feel free to contact me with questions, or any additional photos.

I ship free USPS Media Mail (includes tracking), for US bidders!

Albums are packaged very well using a record box mailer, cardboard inserts, corner and edge protection, bubble wrap, etc.

Stay tuned to my auctions for more rare gems in the coming weeks. Thanks for bidding!
