Rare MPO Pressing. Vinyl plays NM. Cover Ex.
Side 1 Matrix: ROUGH 96 A1X FEAR OF MANCHESTER MPO. Side 2 Matrix: ROUGH 96 B1X THEM WAS ROTTEN DAYS MPO.
My listening equipment is a highly revealing Yamaha PF-800 turntable (top quality suspended sub-chassis deck), pre/power amps and B&W Matrix Reference speakers. Before listing I always clean LPs on a vacuum record cleaning machine and I always determine audio quality by playing the LP not just by visual inspection. For this LP I have used an Ortofon MC10 Super MC cartridge.
Played on my system, this LP grades Near Mint. I don’t usually grade this high, but I believe this LP merits it. I did hear a soft tick near the start of the first track on side 1, but I reckon that would be removed if you ever decided to clean the record again. I will point out that, visually, side two has a light mark across tracks two and three but it is of no audio consequence (see final photograph). The gatefold cover is Excellent with just a few small indentation marks and a light crease near the spine (see close-up photo). Comes complete with its original inner sleeve. Will be well packaged for safe transit.
