Description
First press of The Smiths This Charming Man. 12” vinyl 1983. Etched accordingly “ Will nature make a man of me yet?” on the run-out on side A. Played today for the first time in 43 years and sounds crisp and clear. No sound imperfections during tracks. I couldn't detect a single crackle - played on a Dual turntable through a NAD amp and mission speakers - non of which are for sale. I've tried to show the run out message but not very successfully. The photo shows a few specs of dust but these will come off with a clean. Outer cover in remarkable condition for a 43 year old record. Inner paper as I got it.
Always stored in an upright position and kept in a smoke and pet free environment. I’m the one and only owner of this record - I've also got the ticket stub from their concert at De Montfort Hall in '83 - I think. It’s from my private collection which I'm selling as they haven't been played in over 40 years.
Will be sent in a sturdy cardboard box.
