The Smiths - Very Rare MPO Panic Solid Centre 7”
Very scarce MPO panic solid centre, pressed in France, with short etched rt193 a1/b1 matrices + “MPO” etching in runouts. These are nigh on impossible to find, compare them against the panic solid centre you have in your collection, odds are you’re holding an emi pressing with stamped matrix. Labels, and the style in which they are pressed are markedly different too, much chunkier look to the MPOs with a slope going down towards the spindle hole + smooth ridge encompassing the label itself. You will rarely see an MPO press of this record with a solid centre
Record is VG+ there’s a lot of very fine whispy marks when held under scrutiny, but completely inconsequential
Sleeve is fair enough, could do with replacing but no biggie
price rating
