The Smiths Vintage Original 1987 I Started Something I Couldn't Finish Poster
This listing is for a 1987 Rough Trade Records, Cartel distributed poster promoting the Smiths' 1987 top-30 single, I Started Something I couldn't Finish. This poster, which was never available to the public and used only for retail promotion, depicts Avril Angers in a still from the 1966 British movie, The Family Way and exemplifies Morrissey's fascination with 1960s Brit Pop Culture. This is an opportunity to own this official Rough Trade/Cartel poster in near mint condition.
Size: 61cm (31") X 30.5 cm (12")
Authentication: The size, paper stock and printing method have all been assessed to guarantee this poster is an original first printing. The printing is a semi-gloss print type finish which is typical of this era and of other posters produced by Rough Trade/The Cartel at this time. This is a guaranteed original first printing.
Condition: Very Good vintage condition. Generally excellent condition throughout. No pin holes or creases, the poster has been stored rolled for three decades. Please inspect the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
The poster is rolled and will be sent in a strong cardboard tube.
