The first pressing (about 1000 to 1500 copies) were manufactured in the UK (by Linguaphone) and came with paper labels and a small center hole. It was hurriedly re-pressed in October 1977 in France (in larger quantities than the UK original) after the UK pressing plant workers complained about the band name and refused to handle more copies. The French re-press came with die-press labels and a large center hole. The Ghetto Rockers record label was an obscure Reggae imprint of Island Records and were used as the vehicle for this release due to concerns about the offensive band name by EMI, who controlled Island Records in the UK at the time. The record was made single of the week on 6th August 1977 by Monty Smith in the influential UK music weekly the NME (New Musical Express).
