The Sods - No pictures / Plaything, mega rare punk 7“ from 1979 on the bands own label Stortbeat 79.


In stunning MINT archive condition, vinyl unplayed. Rare for any punk single.


The Sods were a superb band from Harlow / Essex and like many bands had an epiphany after seeing the Sex Pistols. They never managed to make it out of Harlow instead started a record label - Stortbeat - and released two now mega rare records.


This is their first recording. John Peel played this track on his show in May 1979.


The minimalistic black & white thin paper sleeve is in EXCELLENT PLUS or NM condition, just some mild creasing, as shown in the photos.


Luckily the vinyl was kept inside a plastic inner sleeve, remained unplayed and is in MINT M condition.


Matrix / Runout: etched ST+005+A, A PORKY PRIME CUT FOR & ST+005+B, PECKO OR, an Orlake plant pressing.


A once in a lifetime opportunity to get this lost punk classic in MINT vinyl condition, final upgrade, one for your punk archive.


Grading as per RRPG standards.


Vinyl professionally cleaned on a RCM ( Okki Nokki).
