Description

Rare and scarce purple label LP. Original 1965 Mono copy. (cover corner displays ET-LPS-024, but label has LP-024 monaural) Probably a factory mistake since both monaural and stereo were provided in 1965. Vinyl is in VG+ with nice gloss on both sides. Under a bright light shows some scuffs and light lines, Play graded at VG++ with very limited sound noise. Sound is clear and consistent through out. Cover is also VG+ with some dinged corners and light wear spotting in the dark background. Also some cracks of the spine with no splitting. Label shows hole spindle wear with gloss loss on both sides, leaving rough surfaces in some places with no color loss. (A possible factory flaw). This 52 year old Jewel sounds great, exhibiting the patina of being used but not abused.
