Description
The vinyl is pretty solid on this one. Nice labels with hardly a hint of play and amazing wax with some surface hairlines/surface scuffs that seem to create some light noise but still plays out nice. I hear that due to how they recorded it gives their records a certain sound that might come off as noisy. I truly think it's an amazing sounding album.
The original inner sleave looks nice and is in great shape with light wear.
The original cover has good gloss, no cutouts splits or rips, slight rounding to the corners, amazing colors, crisp and smooth to the touch, and looks a solid VG+ with some bin wear. Overall an amazing copy.
Wanna talk influential..meet the grandfather's of Grunge, the Progenitors of Punk. Iggy Pop, Kirk Cobain, Bruce Springsteen, the Ramones, anything with some edge after the 60s owe something to The Sonics.
I just listened to this earlier today with my daughter.. its easy to be surprised when you look at that cover then drop that needle. Bam! Thats not what I was expecting you think as your speakers come to life. You havent ever listened to the Sonics? Do yourself a favor, right now, open that Spotify and just listen to one song..itll only take you a moment and you'll know whats to be known.
This was my dads, we grew up just south of Seattle just half a mile from the Spanish Castle. He loved his music especially if it came from home..if you do buy this I hope its so you can listen and hear the history that's there..
