Description
The Sound of Fury - Billy Fury LP original on the Decca label FFRR LF 1329. I been asked to do a detailed review of this record by someone watching the item. This what I think.
Cover: No writing and it tact but someone has done a repair patch job on Billy's head in the photo on the rear of the sleeve. There is a little bit the film lifting on the front cover but not too much. There is some creasing to the cover to the corners mainly to the lower front right corner. It also as a small damage mark on the very bottom front cover. The back is clean and bright with just some age discolouration to the foldovers. All this can be seen on the photo's.
Labels: No writing and clean and bright some spindle scratches but nothing major.
Record: doing a light test the vinyl is bright and shiny with a few light surface scratches. The records plays through but there is a lot of hiss/crackle particularly on the slow tracks throughout the LP. I thought the record would play better than it did because it looks very nice but has obviously been loved and played many times
Overall then I would rate VG/VG and will reduce the starting price
