Description

A rare 1965 Original Soundtrack recording of Rodgers and Hammerstein's 'The Sound of Music', containing an inserted coloured booklet.

Booklet contains information on the stars of the show Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, and Rodgers and Hammerstein. Conducted by Irwin Kostal.

Excellent condition. Both record and booklet look as though they have never been touched. Vibrant colours with little fading. Very minor damage on top edge as glue holding the sides together has become unstuck, very easily fixed.

Beautiful piece of memorabilia, could play it or would look beautiful framed with the booklet. A wonderful soundtrack to a fantastic classic family film.
