Description

Rare Gary Usher involvement. The Sounds Of The Silly Surfers /Weird-ohs Hairy Records LP 101 1964. Record has some light surface scratches but plays and sounds great. Labels are unmarked. Cover has splits and lots of edge wear on all seams, ink, creasing, age browning and sticker tears.
This was a 1964 promotional release for the Hawk model company, geared to the release of a line of Weird-Oh plastic model kit characters. Separate, expanded LPs of the Silly Surfers side ("The Sounds Of The Silly Surfers") and the Weird-Ohs side ("The Sounds Of The Weird-Ohs") were released later in the year on the Mercury label, under those same titles.
